Getting around Cape Town and the Cape Winelands is both convenient and scenic. For exploring the city, rideshare services like Uber are widely available, reliable, and affordable. For wine-tasting tours, consider hiring a private driver or joining guided tours to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The roads are well-maintained, and with breathtaking landscapes at every turn, getting around becomes part of the adventure. Alternately, guests can rent a car at the airport for the duration of their stay by exploring various providers available and ensuring they pre-book their vehicle in advance.

​Wedding Day Arrangements:
Complimentary shuttles will be provided to transport guests from the ceremony at Johannesdal Villa to the reception at Tokara and we are providing transportation for guests to get back to their accommodation in Stellenbosch, ensuring everyone gets home safely after the celebrations. These shuttles will be available from 10pm, with the final shuttle leaving at 1am at the end of the reception. For those wishing to leave earlier, Ubers are quite active in the area until 22:00, but please note that it may be more challenging to find one after that time
